SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA (BRAIN)—Interbike has released the broadcast schedule of news shows conducted in its Media Center, a TV studio and working news room designed to help journalists cover and easily produce news of the Interbike International Bicycle Expo.

FRIEDRICHSHAFEN, Germany (BRAIN)—Eurobike announced the winners of the Eurobike Awards 2008 yesterday evening on the Fashion Show stage. This year's competition attracted a record 362 entries from 27 countries—up substantially from last year's 269 products.

ARGENBUEHL, Germany (BRAIN)—Stefan Reisinger was all smiles at the entrance to the Eurobike Demo Day yesterday morning. Reisinger, Eurobike’s project manager, was pleased with the warm and sunny weather and the strong turnout of dealers who showed up to test-ride bikes.

MONTREAL, Quebec (BRAIN)—For the first time the ExpoCycle Show Directory is available for viewing in an interactive digital format.

The Web site uses new technology that allows attendees to view the entire directory online, with live links directly to key Web sites.

MONTREAL, Quebec (BRAIN)—ExpoCycle 2008, the Canadian bike industry's annual trade show, is shaping up to be a banner event.

Organized by the Bicycle Trade Association of Canada, ExpoCycle has seen a phenomenal increase in pre-registration this year.

LAS VEGAS, NV (BRAIN)—Interbike's annual OutDoor Demo at Bootleg Canyon, Nevada, is on schedule to meet or exceed last year's event.

Currently, the OutDoor Demo has 63,500 of net-sold, square-feet of exhibit space and is continuing to grow as manufacturers submit exhibiting contracts.

FRIEDRICHSHAFEN, Germany (BRAIN)—Erich Reiss, the man behind Eurobike, is now telling people to go fly a kite—or to surf one, more accurately. He’s floating the idea of Kiteworld Europe, a kite surfing trade fair, as an adjunct to next year’s Interboot boat and water sports show.
