MILAN, Italy (BRAIN)—EICMA got its start amidst pouring rain yesterday. That, as well as restricted entrance to trade visitors and media, contributed to light foot traffic on the first day. However, many exhibitors expect attendance to pick up tomorrow, when the show opens to the general public.

MILAN, Italy (BRAIN)—The Italian bicycle and motorcycle show kicks off today in Milan. The exhibition, in its 66th edition, will run until Sunday, November 9, but today and tomorrow are trade-only days. On Thursday the show opens to the general public.

LAS VEGAS, NV—The troubles on Wall Street were hard to discern at Interbike where the mood of those attending and exhibiting was largely positive.

Attendance at the show was up once again, as more than 23,400 exhibitors and retailers filled the Sands Expo and Convention Center.
