LONG BEACH, Calif. (BRAIN) — Matthew Pfeffer, a long-time bike industry testing engineer and vice president of global operations at ACT Lab, died Thursday. He was 50.

Pfeffer died from complications stemming from an acute case of influenza.

Cedar Kyes moves north to manage the Pacific Northwest territory for Marin.

NOVATO, Calif. (BRAIN) — Marin Mountain Bikes Inc. has announced two changes to its sales staff. BMX and mountain bike racing legend Eric Carter has joined Marin and will be managing the Southern California territory as a Factory Rep. Cedar Kyes is moving north to manage Marin's Pacific Northwest territory.
