Published November 30, 2015

TREVIGLIO, Italy (BRAIN) — Bianchi has opened a new company store in the heart of Munich, Germany. The new 200-square-meter (2,200-square-foot) store opened Nov. 25 in the Eataly Schrannenhalle, an Italian food market.

The new store offers the complete Bianchi range of bicycles, including road, mountain, city/trekking and e-bikes, as well as accessories and clothing. The store offers retail service, mechanical assistance and a Bianchi bike fitting system powered by Shimano.

"I'm glad to dive into this new exciting project here in Munich, in one of the greatest European markets," Bianchi owner Salvatore Grimaldi said. "Our Bianchi bicycle shop and Eataly will contribute to each other incredibly well. This is an important marketing opportunity, both for the promotion of our bikes and to provide closer support to our dealers."

Eataly Munich consists of 4,600 square meters on two floors and two mezzanine floors, dedicated to purchase, tastings, production and education on Italian food.
