Published November 30, 2015

NORWALK, Calif. (BRAIN) — The Fairdale Weekender Drop bike sits at the top of the brand's 2016 Weekender line. The Drop is a 10-speed road bike with a wide gear range thanks to its 11-40 tooth rear cassette.

The parts kit includes SRAM's Apex shifter lever and the SRAM X7 Type 2 rear derailleur. Avid BB7 road disc brakes paired with Fairdale Linear cables (by Odyssey) provide stopping powerm while 42mm wide Continental tires roll smoothly on sealed cartridge bearing hubs. Two-piece cranks with an over-sized spindle have been paired to a sealed, outboard bearing bottom bracket. The frame and fork comes equipped with rack and fender mounts that allow for lots of set-up options.

The complete Weekender Drop has an MSRP of $1,249.

The Weekender is also available as a frame and fork set and in two other complete builds (shown below): The BMX-styled Weekender MX build and the city cruiser Weekender Archer.
