Published April 2, 2015

MONTREAL (BRAIN) — Canadian framebuilder Guru Cycles has added Michael Musil and Timothy Goodwin to its North American rep force. Musil is covering the eastern region and Goodwin is covering the central region.

Musil most recently was the regional sales manager for Lezyne. Before that he was national sales manager for Vittoria Shoes and Helmets.

Goodwin, who’s worked in the industry for more than 40 years, will rep Guru in the states of Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas. He heads Tri Marketing Group, which reps several brands in the cycling industry including Sugoi, Yakima, Sidi and Sport Beans.

Goodwin previously represented Look and is now adding Guru Cycles as his company’s only complete bike brand.

“Partnering with our customer and dealer base is critical to Guru’s growth strategy. Both Michael and Timothy bring significant industry knowledge and contacts to Guru, and we welcome them to our team,” said Lorenzo Salvaggio, CEO of Guru Cycles.

In addition to the two hires, Guru Cycles also promoted Josh Novis to sales manager for North America. The western and eastern U.S. reps will report to him as well as the eastern and central Canada sales rep, Matt Guse, who’s based out of the company’s Montreal headquarters.

Guru Cycles also is sponsoring pro women’s team Fearless Femme presented by Haute Wheels Racing in 2015 for the second year in a row. All 11 team members will train and race on the Photon v.4 road bikes and CR.901 time trial bikes at UCI, NRC and NCC sanctioned races across the U.S. and Europe.
