The Gravity Cartel adds Novak to sales team

VANCOUVER, Wash. (BRAIN) — The Gravity Cartel, the U.S. office for Taiwan component maker Spank Industries and Switzerland’s iXS protective gear, has hired industry veteran Mike Novak in its sales department. Novak previously worked at retailer Universal Cycles in Portland, Ore., and also was service manager at REI in Portland.

“Sales have been cranking along since we opened the office two years ago, and it just got to a point where I needed help in order to keep the customer service level where we want it to be,” said Gravity Cartel U.S. sales manager Victor Sandrin. “I worked with (Novak) previously and he was always great with customers and had great product knowledge for sales.  I am really excited to have him on board at this important point in our growth, especially with all the new products from Spank and iXS that are set to come out in the next 12 months.”

Novak said, “ I am excited to be here, and helping a company that is really starting to make big gains in the U.S., especially with the story that Spank as a manufacturer of their products has and 100-year history of iXS. I was out of the bike industry for a brief time and it made me realize how much I enjoy working with bikes and the people in bike shops. I look forward to making new friends in the industry as we move forward.”
