SANTA MONICA, Calif. (BRAIN) — Bonk Breaker plans to convert its entire product line to non-GMO ingrediants. Currently 75 percent of the brand's SKUs are non-GMO. The company will phase in the additional non-GMO products over the coming months.

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. (BRAIN) — For the 2017 model year, Santa Cruz is offering aluminum-frame versions of some of its most popular mountain bike models, the 5010, Bronson and Tallboy. The new alloy frames allow lower prices: the aluminum 5010 with Santa Cruz' D-level build kit will retail for $2,600, for example.

SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif. (BRAIN) — Easton Cycling is coming out with some hollow carbon fiber road/cyclocross crankarms in collaboration with sister brand Race Face.

NORTHVALE, N.J. (BRAIN) — Jamis is releasing some of its new 2017 models early, including the Nova Cyclocross Series and Renegade Adventure Series. These models are expected to be in stock by early August; most other Jamis 2017 model year bikes will be available in September.

ATLANTA (BRAIN) — Wilier's new Cento10AIR was designed to combine aerodynamics, low weight, and high ride quality. The company said its research helped it design a frame and fork as a whole for aerodynamic efficiency, rather than focusing on just the frame's front end. 

TAIPEI, Taiwan (BRAIN) — Folding bike maker Tern, which introduced its first diamond-frame non-folding urban bikes just before March's Taipei Cycle Show, is further diversifying its line with a Bosch-equipped electric folding model planned to debut at this summer's Eurobike expo.

CANTON, Mass. (BRAIN) — Kryptonite has launched a global Anti-Theft Protection Offer (ATPO) that covers select U-locks and chains from the company's line for as long as five years. The program is now available in 30 countries, including 24 in Europe as well as the United States and Canada.

NEVERS, France (BRAIN) — Look Cycle is celebrating the 30th anniversary of Greg LeMond's first Tour de France victory with a special edition 795 Aerolight bike and Keo Blade 2 pedal.

CHICAGO (BRAIN) — Materials Sciences Corporation, a Pennsylvania-based company that helped develop Bianchi's Countervail vibration absorbing technology, is now working with Wilson Sporting Goods to apply its technology to sporting goods. The partnership agreement is exclusive in the sporting goods market.

PETALUMA, Calif. (BRAIN) — Kitsbow worked with Polartec to release its new Radiator Tee. The mountain bike T-shirt uses Polartec's new Delta and PowerDry fabrics.

LAGUNA, Calif. (BRAIN) — The Crankbrothers Double Shot pedal has a clip-in mechanism on one side and a flat pedal on the other. It's intended for touring, mountain biking, commuting or winter fat biking.
