ATLANTA, Ga. (BRAIN) — Wahoo Fitness has released a software update for its ELEMNT GPS bike computer that includes a live Strava segment feature. Several other GPS computer makers have similar features and Wahoo has promised the update for a while.

SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif. (BRAIN) — Blackburn's new Chamber HV floor pump is purpose-built for mountain bike use, with an oversized barrel for high volume, a 4-inch-diameter gauge that reads to 50 psi, a camoflauge paint job and an integrated bottle opener.

DENVER (BRAIN) — Gates is targeting the high-volume European urban bike and e-bike market with an expanded product line it will introduce at Eurobike at the end of this month. The company also will show new products for use with Pinion gearboxes and Rohloff hubs.

PORTLAND, Ore. (BRAIN) — BikeFlights.com is now selling its cardboard bike shipping box, which it first showed at last year's Interbike show. The box was desiogned to make it easier to ship bikes with wider tires and longer suspension travel.

OLNEY, Ill. (BRAIN) —  The new Magura Boltron suspension fork was developed for e-MTBs. The fork was developed with WP Performance Systems, an Austria-based motocross suspension company.

TRUCKEE, Calif. (BRAIN) — Surly is still betting big on the fat bike market, but has trimmed its 2017 line from five models to two — the Wednesday and the Ice Cream Truck.

Still, John Fleck, Surly's global sales manager, said a third model could be added later in the season.

WILTON, Ct. (BRAIN) — Cycling Sports Group, the parent company of Cannondale, is recalling about 3,500 Cannondale Bad Boy and Bad Girl commuter bikes because the front hub axle can fail. The recall involves bikes manufactured between 2010 and 2012.

BERKELEY, Calif. (BRAIN) — GU Energy Labs has launched its new Energy Stroopwafel, a Dutch-style syrup waffle that the company said acts like an Energy Gel, but tastes like a breakfast treat.

TOKYO (BRAIN) — A Japanese entrepreneur is launching a Indiegogo crowd-funding campaign to product a wireless headset that allows groups of up to 10 people to talk to each other via a cellular data connection. The Bonx Grip headset is being marketed to outdoor sports enthusiasts including cyclists.

STRATFORD-UPON-AVON, United Kingdom (BRAIN) — Pashley Cycles, England's longest established bicycle manufacturer, has launched two special edition bicycles to celebrate its 90th anniversary.

The "Speed 3 SE" and "Roadfinder SE" models commemorate the past and present day activities of the business.
