AIDS/LifeCycle

AIDS/LifeCycle is a fully supported seven-day, 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles, co-produced by and benefiting San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center. The event raises awareness about the ongoing HIV/AIDS epidemic and funds services such as HIV testing, prevention, care and much more. Since 1993, when the ride began as a for-profit event called California AIDS Ride, participants have raised more than $200 million and completed more than 42,000 journeys on bikes from San Francisco to Los Angeles.

Crankworx Innsbruck

Born in Whistler, B.C. in 2004, Crankworx has evolved into a multi-stop international festival series, bringing together the best mountain bike athletes to compete in elite-level competitions in a variety of disciplines, as well as hosting races for amateurs, Kidsworx contests for young riders, participatory events, and celebrations of mountain bike culture, all while showcasing amazing destinations. Crankworx Innsbruck took flight in June 2017, becoming the first European Crankworx host location outside of France.

Great Ohio Bicycle Adventure

Port Clinton and the Lake Erie region of Ohio will be featured on the 31st annual GOBA tour. Riders can pedal as few as 140 miles or as many as 400 during a weeklong, fun-filled bicycling and camping adventure for all ages.

Outerbike Sun Valley

Western Spirit Cycling has partnered with Sun Valley to provide a summer solstice Outerbike demo event in one of the bucket list locations of mountain biking. With more than 400 miles of singletrack spread throughout the valley, the mountain biking is some of the best — and most scenic — in the country. Bald Mountain now boasts America's longest purpose-built downhill and 3,100 feet of thrilling lift-accessed trails (including two new downhill rides!).

Velo-city Global Conference

Dublin is a historic city where cycling and the cycling environment are constantly changing. Dublin’s conference title is “Cycling for the Ages,” which looks at how we encourage cycling from young to old, male and female and all demographics so that cycling is accessible to everyone. The title looks at what cycling will look like in the future and how we can safeguard and grow cycling in the coming ages as well.
