CANTON, MA (BRAIN)—After eight years at Kryptonite, Donna Tocci will step down as marketing manager.

Starting July 1, Tocci will be the director of web/new media for Ingersoll Rand, Kryptonite's parent company.

PARK CITY, UTAH (BRAIN)—John Burke, president of Trek Bicycle Corporation, challenged the bike industry to pledge $10 to IMBA for every full-suspension mountain bike sold in the U.S., during his keynote address Thursday at the IMBA World Summit in Park City, Utah.

LOMBARD, IL (BRAIN)—Sylvia Koslow, who owned and operated Koslow Cycle in Illinois with her husband Andrew for three decades, passed away on June 14.

She was 83.

LOS ANGELES, CA (BRAIN)—Amaury Sport Organisation (ASO) and AEG, owners respectively of the Tour de France and the Amgen Tour of California, have formed a marketing partnership to grow and develop each other’s events, the companies announced this week.

A ceremony in honor of the late Clay Mankin, founder of City Cycle in San Francisco, is scheduled for Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. at Crissy Field Visitor Center.

A bike rack will be dedicated in Mankin's honor, followed by a group ride and pizza at City Cycle.

RAMONA, CA (BRAIN)—­ Ellsworth Handcrafted Bicycles, Inc. has hired David Woronets as operations manager.

Effective June 16, Woronets will oversee Ellsworth's frame building operations in the Portland-Vancouver metropolitan area.

FRIEDRICHSHAFEN, Germany (BRAIN)—Eurobike has attracted a record 900 exhibitors from 37 countries for this year’s tradeshow to be held Sept. 4 to 7 in Friedrichshafen, Germany.

Last year, 868 vendors participated in the tradeshow, which was also a record, and 34,280 visitors attended.

We want to give a shout out to the crew over at Chris King Components in Portland, Oregon. Despite some undesirable weather, a record number of Chris King employees commuted by bike every day they worked during National Bike Month in May.

of the nonprofit Livestrong.org run by the Lance Armstrong Foundation.
