Ritchey International hires Jeff Lockwood as marketing manager

GRANCIA, Switzerland (BRAIN) — Ritchey International has brought Jeff Lockwood on board as marketing manager in Europe.

Lockwood will be responsible for all aspects of marketing, branding and communications for Ritchey International.

"Lockwood will expand and drive the Ritchey brand by creating and managing marketing campaigns, growing social media, increasing event participation, developing content, working with elite teams, supporting sales efforts, and maintaining relationships with key media and distributors," the company stated.

Lockwood has more than 20 years of experience in the bicycle industry. He started his career with Dirt Rag in the United States, where he was responsible for building its online business, and lately he was the editor in chief of, a cyclocross and gravel bike magazine based in the United Kingdom.

In addition to his editorial experience, Lockwood has deep roots in the marketing side of the bicycle business. He managed his own marketing and web design firm, and served as marketing director for Pivot Cycles and BH Bikes USA. More recently, he has provided marketing consultation for various companies and organizations in the bicycle industry and managed global social media efforts for the Bontrager brand.
