VIENNA (BRAIN) — Woom announced it had the best six months in its 12-year history with a 41% increase in revenue.
The privately held kids bike brand reported in a news release revenue of 90.1 million euros ($105.6 million) and said it has sold more than two million bikes since launching in 2013. In April, woom reported it had record first-quarter sales.
"Our results in the first half of 2025 exceeded our expectations," said CEO Bernd Hake. "This success is credit to our whole team and proof of the progress we've made in recent months. Our biggest motivation is — and always will be — seeing just what a joy it is for more than two million kids and teens who've discovered a love of bikes with woom."
Hake said in October woom will introduce a new product for "the youngest riders." Recent product releases include the GO children's bikes, READY Kids' Helmet, and EXPLORE e limited-drop e-bike. Other innovations and products, including "a new approach to e-mobility," are planned for next year.
Woom said its growth isn't only in the DACH (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) region but also in other markets, including the U.S., but did not reveal those sales numbers.
