Published December 12, 2013

BREDBURY, United Kingdom (BRAIN) — Renthal released its new Fatbar Lite Carbon handlebar range aimed at trail, enduro and cross-country riders this week.

Renthal says its new handlebar weighs 180 grams in all rise options (10, 20, 30 and 40 millimeters). The 740-millimeter width bar also boasts market-leading strength and stiffness, the company says.

The bar offers a 7-degree backsweep and 5 degree upsweep, passes EN BMX drop test standards and features unidirectional carbon construction. It retails for $159.99.

Renthal is widely known for manufacturing handlebars for motorcycles and ATVs. Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and KTM spec Renthal handlebars as original equipment. The company applied its experience in motorcross to cycling parts, and offers a range of handlebars, stems, grips, chainrings and accessories.

Quality Bicycle Products, Seattle Bike Supply and BTI distribute Renthal in the U.S. market.
