Velo Orange adds new disc road frame, the Pass Hunter

Published November 10, 2015

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (BRAIN) — Velo Orange has added another model to its line of disc-ready 700c steel touring and adventure frames.

The Pass Hunter Disc uses the same geometry as the original Pass Hunter, to makes a road or day-touring bike, but the company said it's tough enough to be at home on all types of roads.

The 4130 double-butted chromoly frame and fork features a traditional French-style curved fork and geometry while sporting IS disc brake mounts, 135mm rear spacing and a replaceable stainless steel derailleur hanger.  The frame has internal rear brake cable routing, braze-ons for fenders, racks, and water bottles, and clearance for tires up to 38mm.

Available in six sizes from 51-61cm, the Pass Hunter is painted in the trademark “Velo Orange” color. Retail price is $620.
