Clement releases new mixed-terrain tire model, the X'Plor Strada USH

Published July 5, 2016

HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. (BRAIN) — Clement Cycling has just launched the third model in its X'PLOR series, the X'PLOR Strada USH. The X'PLOR series has treads suited for mixed terrain, whether commuting or riding gravel.

The Strada USH is a combination of Clement's Strada LGG and USH. It combines a fast-rolling center track with a scaled-up herringbone tread for traction in the turns.

"The Strada USH is one of the best Clement all-conditions tires for improved dirt roads. Tubeless, it helps fend off common pinch flats which otherwise can occur frequently when riding on gravel, dirt and shale surfaces. It's fast and durable and it's probably the most fun I've had while product testing our rubber," said Clement's director of product development, Johs Huseby.

The Strada USH is a 700 x 32 mm wide tire. In its tubeless-ready version it weighs 341 grams and retails for $75.

The Strada USH is also available in a 120 TPI folding version with a protective belt bead to bead that version retails for $80. A 60 TPI folding version with puncture-protection under the tread retails for $55.

Clement said the tires are in stock and ready to ship at QBP and ProNet.
