Wittson updates its ti hardtail, the Bestia

Published November 11, 2016

KLAIPEDA, Lithuania (BRAIN) — Wittson Custom Ti Cycles has updated its stock titanium hardtail frame, the Bestia.

The Bestia, available for 27.5 or 29-inch wheels, has new geometry for 2017 with a shorter toptube and shallower head angle. The frame now has wishbone seatstays, which the company said provide more lateral stiffness and vertical comfort.

"We are really proud of our wishbone design, as achieving it in titanium is a really complex process and you won't find anybody else doing it like this," the company said.

The Bestia also now has USA-made Paragon x Syntace X-12 thru axle dropouts combined with chainstay postmount brake attachments. It continues to have an integrated seatmast, conical headtube, integrated shifting and brake cable routing, bi-ovalized toptube, hydroformed curved downtube, hydroformed stays, and the PressFit 30 bottom bracket. It's designed for a 100mm travel fork.

The Bestia also is available with a Pinion gearbox, making use of Paragon's new titanium bridges and yokes.

The Bestia can be customized with increased for travel, internal dropper post routing, integrated tapered headset, Boost dropout spacing, belt-drive compatibility, single speed compatibility and more. The Bestia has a lifetime warranty.
