Fuji introduces new offroad touring bike, the Jari

PHILADELPHIA (BRAIN) — Fuji has launched a new bike for loaded off-road touring, the Jari. The aluminum-framed bike will be available in four models and as a frameset. 

The company said the frame was designed for staibilty in rough conditions and when fully loaded. Its seat stays were designed for vertical compliance. The frame also has flat mount disc brake mounts, internal cable routing, cable stops for 1x or 2x drivetrains, thru axles front and rear and a convertible rear dropout that allows swapping from 142x12 thru axle to 135 QR for use of existing rear wheels.

It also has a 2mm silicone shoulder pad on the underside of the top tube for comfort when portaging. It has three water bottle mounts and bento box mounts on the toptube. It has a full carbon fork with tapered steerer tube and internal cable routing and the bike has clearance for up to 700x45c and 650x47c (Road Plus) tires.

Complete bike prices range from $1,200 to $3,000; the frameset retails for $519. The bike is available now.
