Ritchey updates Streem handlebars, lowers price

Published August 19, 2026

SAN CARLOS, Calif. (BRAIN) — Ritchey has updated Streem dropbar, with a new "modern" shape and a lower price than the bar it replaces. The bars are available in a triple-butted aluminum WCS model and a lower-priced double-butted Comp model.

Ritchey said the most noticeable change is a wider 10-degree drop flare paired with a refined compact drop.

"The flare opens up control and confidence on descents, fast corners, and snappy turns, while the compact shape, gentle backsweep, and increasing-radius bends give riders a natural interface for their hands when the road goes long or the pace gets honest," the company said.

The bars have a 120mm drop, 80mm reach, and aero tops.

The WCS models is made of triple-butted 6066 alloy with fully internal cable routing. It weighs 310 grams in a 42cm width.

The Comp model is double-butted 6061 alloy. It weighs 330 grams in 42cm.

"The Streem has always been for riders who want it all: the speed of an aero bar and plenty of proper comfort to stay out there for hours. This update delivers the shape for how people ride now, and we found a way to bring the price down at the same time. That's not a trade-off we get to offer very often," sqaid Fergus Tanaka, Ritchey Design's marketing director.

The WCS Streem retails for $119.95. The Comp Streem is $65.95.
