NEWBURY PARK, CA (BRAIN)—Giant Bicycle has promoted Gregg Frederick to the position of national sales manager.

Frederick is already well known to Giant retailers on the east coast. For the past four years, Frederick has served Giant as the eastern regional sales manager. In that time, Frederick has earned the prestigious Certified Sales Executive designation from Sales & Marketing Executives International.

SMEI is the worldwide organization for sales and marketing professionals for which Frederick was recently named vice president. Frederick will also complete his MBA in Global Leadership this fall through the Gallup Leadership Institute/University of Nebraska.

“Gregg brings great experience to the national sales manager position,” said Elysa Walk, general manager of Giant. “He is well respected in the industry and approaches all retailer relationships with the utmost integrity, which is an important part of Giant’s culture.”

“I look forward to building and refining Giant’s ‘customer-centric’ direction,” Frederick said. “This new role will allow me to focus on increasing Giant’s brand identity and value to our retailers through our partnership programs, like GRP.”

With Frederick’s advancement, Giant account executive Scott Helvie has been promoted to the role of eastern regional sales manager. Helvie has been with Giant for four years as an account executive in the Midwest.

“Scott has all the elements of a great leader for Giant," Walk said. "He is very intelligent, keenly focused on how to make our retailers succeed, and is a shining star within our sales team. We are thrilled to promote such a great employee.”
