Published July 30, 2013

KENT, WA (BRAIN) — French bike brand Lapierre has launched a new website for its recently formed North American division. The site is home to North American product offerings, technology, team information, a dealer locator, consumer blog and monthly newsletter sign-up.

Lapierre North America is part of Accell North America, which was formed earlier this year and also includes Raleigh America, Raleigh Canada, Seattle Bike Supply and iZip e-bike maker Currie Technologies. Dutch firm Accell Group bought Dijon, France-based Lapierre in 1996.

Although Lapierre has historically had a minimal presence in the U.S. and Canada, the brand’s full road and mountain bike range is set to launch in North America for 2014.

“We are excited to officially have a one-stop hub for everything Lapierre NA,” Kirk Bausch, director of sales and marketing for Lapierre North America, said of the new website. “There’s high anticipation among consumers and independent bicycle dealers to see the 2014 bikes we will offer in North America.”

Lapierre North America unveiled its line of road, mountain and cyclocross bikes last week at Lifeboat Events’ DealerCamp in at Utah’s Deer Valley resort..
