Pure Fix hires Lynch in marketing, brand strategy

Published May 20, 2014

LOS ANGELES (BRAIN) — Industry veteran Jackson Lynch has joined Pure Fix Cycles in the newly created position of director of marketing and brand strategy.

Lynch comes to Pure Fix after an eight-month stint as marketing director at Electra Bicycles leading up to Trek’s acquisition of the lifestyle brand in January. Over the past 20 years, he has held a number of marketing and communications posts at companies including Ralph Lauren, Nokia and Trek. He has also worked as a freelance journalist and photographer.

Lynch will work with the Pure Fix team to create brand positions, imaging, programs and messaging that reflect Pure Fix’s style and maturation as a lifestyle company. Lynch will also lend similar expertise to the company’s commuter bike brand, Pure City, launched last year with a line of single-, 3- and 8-speed models.

“Jackson’s breadth of experiences inside and outside the cycling industry adds both leadership and authenticity to our brands. His understanding of how to communicate to and reach a variety of audiences makes him a huge asset,” said Pure Fix Cycles co-founder Michael Fishman. “We couldn’t be any happier to have Jackson on board.”
