Park Tool launches new website with focus on education

Published October 29, 2015

ST. PAUL, Minn. (BRAIN) — Park Tool's redesigned website, www.parktool.com, has expanded product information with an increased educational section focused on helping professional and home mechanics diagnose and repair bicycles.

The site was built by Clockwork Active Media of Minneapolis.

"Our old site served us well for a long time, but over those years we've become a go-to place for bicycle maintenance and repair and we wanted to give more attention to Repair Help with the new site," said Eric Hawkins, the president/owner and chief mechanic at Park Tool.

Visitors to the site are now are presented with two options: "Show me tools" and "Help Me Fix It."

The Repair section is designed to simply and easily show how a repair is done with written step-by-step instructions and/or videos.

When a user clicks on "Show me Tools" they're directed toward the nearly 450 tools, stands and maintenance products currently in the Park Tool line.

The new site continues to use the Buy Local Now feature that directs consumers to a retailer near them.
