PORTLAND, Ore. (BRAIN) — Showers Pass has hired Jeremy Rider as its new national sales manager in June. Rider has had a long career in the outdoor industry, most recently as the national sales manager at Zoic.

"We are excited to welcome Jeremy to the Showers Pass team as we navigate our largest period of sales growth to date," said Kyle Ranson, Showers Pass president. "Jeremy's many years of experience as a sales rep in the mountain bike and golf industries make him exceptionally qualified to foster strong relationships with our retail partners."

The company said its U.S. sales are up 45 percent over last year to date.

Rider said, "I'm thrilled to join Showers Pass at it's such an amazing time in the company's history. The opportunity to join this dynamic team was one that I could not pass up. My goal is to strengthen the relationships with our current retailers, and grow our brand's presence in the process. I'm excited to support Showers Pass and its commitment to getting more riders on bikes, no matter the weather."
