Blackout Distribution acquires Cinema BMX

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (BRAIN) — Blackout Distribution, which owns the Kink and Mission BMX brands, has acquired Cinema BMX, a wheels and wheel parts brand. Cinema was owned by Greenhouse, a Columbus, Ohio, distributor.

Blackout's Zack Phillips told BRAIN that the purchase was completed about a week and a half ago and included Cinema's inventory, tooling and other assets. All Cinema's U.S. inventory has been transferred to Blackout's warehouse in New York. He said Blackout plans to increase Cinema's distribution in the U.S. and internationally. Greenhouse continues to focus on its Verde bikes and Duo accessories brands.
