Published December 20, 2016

BOULDER, Colo. (BRAIN) — RockyMounts has announced its first outside sales reps, Tiffanie McKenzie and Tom Roth, who will work with retailers in the South- and Northeastern U.S., respectively. They report to Rod Judd, RockyMount's sales director.

"As we grow and our brand awareness increases, it's necessary to increase our team," said Judd. "Tiffanie and Tom will support RockyMounts' commitment to servicing win-win partnerships with specialty retailers, particularly the key independent bike dealers that are the cornerstone of their cycling communities."

McKenzie, the owner of Katalyst Athletics, will represent RockyMounts in Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee, where she also represents Blue Competition Cycles, Logica Sport Custom, Kali, and Carbo Rocket.

"I am very happy to be part of a dynamic company like RockyMounts, and I look forward to working together," McKenzie said. "I have found that RockyMounts' products present innovative solutions, with great quality and price, that retailers and consumers are looking for."

Roth, a well-known sales professional who formerly worked for ASI, covers metropolitan New York, New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania and Delaware. He will expand to Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia in the coming months.

"I very much look forward to educating dealers about the highly lucrative line that RockyMounts has become," he said. "Whether it's the roof-top mounts, or the very cool and unique series of hitch mount racks, or the new line of locks, RockyMounts will give shops the diversity that consumers now demand."

The company reports that sales were up 40 percent in 2016, when RockyMounts launched six new rack products and expanded into the bike locks category. The company also moved to an expanded headquarters and retail store in Boulder.
