Published April 17, 2017

VENTURA, Calif. (BRAIN) — Zeitbike hired Casey Buckleitner as its sales representative for Michigan.

Based in central Michigan, Buckleitner will represent the entire line of Zeitbike brands to the upper and lower Peninsula. Zeitbike products include Knog locks, ASS SAVERS, Green Oil, Hirzl gloves, VDO cycling computers, Full Windsor tools, FIKS:Reflective wheel stripes, Pedal Pushers hats and shirts, Classified Nutrition, De Marchi, Fly Pedals clip-on pedal adapters, and more brands to be announced soon.

Buckleitner, a former SRAM rep, said, "I am very excited to join the Zeitbike team. I truly believe that Zeitbike offers an outstanding and fresh value proposition, which is very important for my retailers in the changing marketplace. Zeitbike offers high-quality, protected products with healthy margins, low shipping minimums, and rewards that every IBD can connect with. And helping to strengthen the IBD is the most important thing to me. Zeitbike accomplishes that with their fresh and dynamic approach."

Fritz Bohl, founder of Zeitbike, said, "Casey is a young professional with over seven years of experience as a rep and working for SRAM. He is young, energetic and understands to bring value to the dealers, not just stuff for sale. Casey is a guy who is really concerned about the IBDs' performance and whose genuine goal it is to improve every dealer's performance for the sake of the profession and shops. I love that.

"But also, he approached me in German, so the deal to work with him was sealed before he actually knew it. That was cool," Bohl added.

Buckleitner will officially start visiting shops for Zeitbike this week.
