VISTA, Calif. (BRAIN) — Eliel & Company, the makers of Eliel Cycling apparel, has hired Brandt Furgerson as vice president of sales and marketing.

Furgerson will lead sales and brand development with a focus on custom team-wear products as well as seasonal and artist-inspired collections under the brand's name.

Furgerson brings 20-plus years of performance apparel experience. He was most recently the vice president of sales for 2XU North America. Prior to that, he led the North American business for CEP Sports and was the director of product for Zoot Sports.

"There is an incredible opportunity for Eliel given the integrity of the product and the California cycling heritage the brand represents," Furgerson said.

Eliel is now in just its third year of operations. "The investments we have made in product development and manufacturing over the past few years are paying off," said founder Ryan Cady. "Bringing Brandt's product and sales experience into the business represents the next step in rounding out our management team and further developing our ability to achieve our brand goals within the cycling community."

Eliel will present its new California Heritage and Springs Classics collections at the Sea Otter Classic this week, in booth 246.
