Interbike releases schedule of e-bike training at show

Sessions include research findings, market trend discussions, legislative updates, and training opportunities.

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, Calif. (BRAIN) — Interbike has released its full schedule of e-bike training, to be held within its Electric Theatre, epowered by Bosch, at the show beginning in two weeks.

Pat Hus, the vice president of Interbike, said, "Having just returned from Eurobike this week and seeing what is happening with e-bikes in Europe, the opportunities that exist for North America are staggering. Our jobs as tradeshow producers is to help facilitate this opportunity for both retailers and suppliers. Much is changing in this fast-paced segment and everyone needs to stay on top of trends and where things are going. The content in the Electric Theatre will give everyone those insights and tools to be successful in the category."

Seminars will run daily from 10am-4pm at the presentation stage located in Hall D near The Circuit test track. Examples of some of the content include:

Electric Mountain Bikes: "Where Can I Ride?"
The BPSA and PeopleForBikes are working with land managers and advocates to grow understanding about e-MTBs in order to drive progressive, local-based policies that give people a place to ride their eMTB. This panel will cover new information on local, state, and federal eMTB policies, and resources available for land managers and advocates.

Successful Storytelling: Social & Traditional Media Outreach for eBikes & Beyond
In this presentation, Melissa Balmer, the marketing and media outreach coordinator for the Electric Bike Association and Ebike Expos, and former media director for the California Bicycle Coalition, shares tools and tips.

The Rise of Electric Bikes in the US: Market Trends
How is e-MTB adoption in the U.S. progressing, and who's buying them? In this data-driven overview, Bosch will sprinkle some of its own insights gleaned from customer surveys and other research to point out important trends in the U.S. marketplace.
