Stromer introduces ST1 line to U.S. market

 GRENCHEN, Switzerland (BRAIN)—BMC Group’s Stromer e-bike brand is launching its new ST1 pedal-assist bike into the U.S. market with a sweepstakes giveaway in which one person will win a $3,499 ST1 Elite 9-speed model.

The Swiss-designed ST1 Elite has a 500-watt continuous output motor and can reach a top speed of 20 mph with a range of 20 to 40 miles. The 27-speed ST1 Platinum (MSRP $3,999) also has a 500-watt motor, but it can hit up to 30 mph with a range of 25 to 50 miles. The Platinum is also available in a step-through version.

Both models feature a battery integrated into the frame’s downtube, four riding modes, carbon fork and disc brakes.

Stromer is sold in North America through a network of more than 70 dealers.
