Spanish helmet brand Catlike brings shoes to US

Published March 29, 2016

LAKE FOREST, Calif. (BRAIN) — Spanish helmet brand Catlike is bringing its shoe line to the U.S. After launching a full line in Europe last year, the company is bringing select models to the U.S. for 2016.

The brand is distributed exclusively by Hawley-Lambert, but Catlike's North American brand manager Sean Kneale will be distributing the shoes.

Catlike is making its Whisper Road and Whisper MTB shoes available. The Whisper shoes have a wrap-around construction that holds a rider's foot snug and pushes it back into the heel of the shoe, where anti-slip lining keeps the foot firmly in place. The toe box is slightly wider, but not too wide and can expand a few millimeters extra due to a small overlap near the base of the tongue.

Using two Boa dials and a small Velcro strap, the fit is comfortable and infinitely adjustable for any rider's foot. With styling and color options that tie in to the Catlike look, the Whisper collection offers a glove-like fit and is available in whole sizes from 39 to 47.

The Whisper Road is available in three colors (White/Black, Red/Black and Blue/Black) and retails for $300 with a graphene-infused carbon sole. The Whisper MTB comes in four color options (Red/Black, Blue/Black, Green/Black and Orange/Black), retails for $200 and features a graphene-infused nylon sole.

Kneale can be reached via email at sean@catlike.us for more information.
