Vanilla Workshop offers ready-made Speedvagen road models

PORTLAND, Ore. (BRAIN) — The Vanilla Workshop is introducing a new line of stock road bikes to complement its custom-made models. The Speedvagen Ready-Made bikes are still built, painted and assembled in the company's Portland factory.

 The first model in the range is the OG1 (Original Gangster) road bike. 

"OG1 frames are produced in small batches, keeping the cost down, while offering riders a truly hand-built experience without waiting months or even years for a bike. Our goal is to have a bikes delivered within two weeks of ordering," the company said.

The OG1 is available in five sizes from 50 to 58 cm, and in two color options: Matte Army and Matte Lavender.

The frames have Berzerker dropouts, integrated seatmasts and custom drawn steel tubing from Columbus and True Temper. The frames have strategically placed stainless steel reinforcements.

The complete bikes have a component package includes Shimano Dura-Ace mechanical shifters and rear derailleur, Shimano Ultegra front derailleur, cranks and brakes, Mavic Ksyrium Elite wheels amd tires, Fizik Antares saddle, PRO handlebar wrapped in Cinelli cork tape, Ritchey seatpost head and a PRO PLT stem painted to match the frame. The bikes come with a ENVE 2.0 road fork painted to match. 

MSRP is $5,385.
