Jandd offers bag for retailers to stash e-bike paraphernalia

Published November 12, 2019

SAN DIEGO, Calif. (BRAIN) — Bag maker Jandd is offering a small bag for retailers to stash assorted accessories, including power cords, keys, and owners' manuals, that come with e-bikes. The bag was designed by an e-bike dealer in Iowa, and can be used to store e-bike accessories on the sales floor or the demo fleet. The bag can later be sold with the bike.

The bag is made from Jandd's fabric remnants, generally from 200 dinear nylon. They are made to order so shops can call ahead to ask Jandd what color remnants are available.

The bag has velcro loops that allow it to be attached to the top tube or handlebars. Alternatively, the bags can be organized off the bike, with the associated bike identified on a slide-out card viewable through a front zippered window. The card included has spots for the bike's model and serial number. The card also mentions that the bag is made from remnants and recycled materials.

The bags sell to retailers for $6/bag, and are made to order.
