Shimano releases 100th tech training module

IRVINE, CA (BRAIN) — Shimano is releasing the 100th module in its online retailer training program on Monday. The 100th module is devoted to the company's new hydraulic road disc brakes. 

The T.E.C. program was launched in June 2011. More than 11,000 store employees at 3,800 storefronts have participated. The program includes more than 10 hours of training. 

To celebrate the 100th module, Shimano is running three promotions Monday:

  • The first hundred users to complete the 100th module will receive a special gift.
  • Every user who completes the 100th module Monday will be entered into a drawing to receive their choice of an Ultegra 6870 upgrade kit or a set of BR-M785 Road Hydraulic Disc Brakes.
  • Users who complete all 100 modules by day’s end will be entered into a drawing to receive their choice of an Ultegra 6870 upgrade kit or a set of BR-M785 Road Hydraulic Disc Brakes.
