MONTEREY, Calif. (BRAIN) — Organizers of the Sea Otter Classic, scheduled for next month here, announced Thursday that they are postponing the event to an undetermined date because of the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak.

CHICAGO (BRAIN) — Organizers of next week's CABDA East trade show say the event will be held as scheduled with some new precautions because of the COVID-19 outbreak.

The event will be held at the Meadowlands convention center in Secaucus, New Jersey.

DALLAS (BRAIN) — Organizers of the North American Handmade Bicycle Show, originally scheduled for later this month in Dallas, have postponed the show to late August because of concerns about the COVID-19 virus outbreak.

SUZHOU, China (BRAIN) — E-bike component manufacturer Bafang Electric Co. said it has resumed operations following the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus.

After Bafang was included in a first-level alert status for the past month, the Jiangsu Provincial Government reduced the threat level on Feb. 24.

TAICHUNG, Taiwan (BRAIN) — The CEO of A&J Bicycles — one of the world's largest bike makers, with factories in Taiwan, China, Vietnam, and Cambodia — is warning customers of possible shipment delays due to the novel coronavirus outbreak in China.

TAIPEI, Taiwan (BRAIN) — Taiwan-based exhibitors at the Taipei Cycle show — scheduled to open a month from Tuesday — are circulating a petition asking organizers to cancel it because of the new coronavirus outbreak in China.
