Published February 17, 2014

SAN RAFAEL, Calif. (BRAIN) — Trips for Kids' 16th annual "Meet the Mountain Bike Pioneers Bash," held last weekend, raised $1,400 for Trips for Kids and the NorCal High School Cycling League.

Mountain bike legends in attendance included Noah Berry, Otis Guy, Ned Overend, Charles Kelly, Joe Breeze, Chris Chance, Dave Garoutte, Michael Kelley, Marilyn Price and Rick Sutton.

"I can say with 100 percent certainty that guests at the event loved the opportunity to meet some of the legends of mountain biking, socialize with friends and support kids mountain biking at the same time. This was our 16th 'Meet the Mountain Bike Pioneers Bash,' and we plan on holding it year after year," said Price, Trips for Kids' founder.
