Richmond, Calif. (March 8, 2021) — Cleary Bikes, a speciality manufacturer of kids' bikes, has selected Thorpe Marketing as its public relations agency of record. Thorpe Marketing will manage Cleary Bikes' public and media relations.

"We're really looking forward to growing Cleary into a brand leader within the kids' bike category. Cleary is unique in making kids' bikes only and therefore they spare no detail. "The bikes feature quality, lightweight construction thoughtfully designed with proportional geometry and components," said Jasen Thorpe, co-founder of Thorpe Marketing. "All of us here at Thorpe have introduced our little ones to riding bikes, and seen first-hand the joy, freedom and empowerment bikes bring to a kid's life. We're going to have a lot of fun bringing that experience to families everywhere."

Established in 2014, Cleary was founded by parents who are avid cyclists and also engineers. Cleary believes bicycles are an empowering tool to develop balance, self-confidence, physical fitness and independence. To get that boost, kids need to be comfortable on their bikes, therefore the bikes should be lightweight, durable and capable.

Cleary scrutinizes and purposefully selects every tube, angle, weld and component on their bike line to ensure a balanced, responsive ride for every kid. The bikes offer an athletic riding position to enable kids to ride with less effort and maneuver the bike with ease and greater control. Internally routed brake cables, hand brakes and flip-flop freewheel hubs on single speed bikes, threadless sealed headsets, vegan leather saddles, small diameter grips, handlebars and brake levers, rust-proof chain, protective sealant under lead-free paint to prevent dents, dings and rust and withstand the use and abuse of a kids. All this comes in a brightly colored, lightweight package so kids can fall in love with biking just as you did.

"We're pleased to announce our partnership with Thorpe Marketing," said Jeff Cleary, owner of Cleary Bikes. "Thorpe came to us highly recommended. Not only because of their experience and deep relationships within the industry, but also because they genuinely share our passion for getting more kids out and on bikes. We have exciting product and programmatic launches ahead, so our partnership starts at the perfect time."
