PORTLAND, Ore. (BRAIN) — Pro cycling fans around the world watched the first "Monument" single-day race of the 2014 season on Sunday, the historic Milan-Sanremo classic. This year's edition was 246 kilometers (153 miles) and included a monumental amount of rain throughout.

LOS ANGELES (BRAIN) — Organizers of the Amgen Tour of California have announced the route of the 2014 edition of America's highest ranked stage race. This year's route progresses north to south from May 11 to May 18, covering 740 miles.
