Published May 26, 2021

ANOKA, Minn. (BRAIN) — Vista Outdoor, the parent of Bell, Giro, Blackburn, CamelBak and other outdoor brands, has acquired QuietKat, an e-bike brand from Colorado best known for making a Jeep-branded e-bike featured in a Super Bowl ad

"QuietKat is an electric bicycle company that specializes in designing, manufacturing and marketing rugged, all-terrain eBikes. Based in Eagle, Colorado, the company will continue to be led by its co-founders and twin brothers, Jake and Justin Roach," Vista Outdoor CEO Christopher Metz said Wednesday.

QuietKat specializes in e-bikes for hunters and anglers, making the brand a good fit with Vista, which continues to sell ammunition and other shooting sport accessories.

Metz released a statement with the Quietkat news prior to an Investor Day presentation. The company also announced it had acquired Venor, a "hunt-inspired female apparel brand."
