BRADENTON, Fla. (BRAIN) — In August, BRAIN spoke with Sébastien Coué, the vice presidents of sales and marketing for Look Cycle Internationals. Coué moved to the United States this August in order to support the development of the company's American subsidiary, which was created in 2019. Look Cycle Holding has an annual turnover of $53 million, with 75% of the revenues generated outside of France; that includes 15% in the United States and 15% in Asia.

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (BRAIN) — Longtime industry professional Gary Teller died Tuesday after a long battle with kidney disease. He was 68.

Teller had a career as a parts and accessories sales representative for JBI and was known to his customers as "Mr. Partz."

KOBLENZ, Germany (BRAIN) — Armin Landgraf will step down as Canyon Bicycles CEO at the end of the month, and Chief Financial Officer Winfried Rapp will assume the role on an interim basis.

Landgraf cited personal reasons for his resignation. He will remain a Canyon consultant until the end of the year.

COTATI, Calif. (BRAIN)  — Yuba Bicycles is relocating its headquarters from Cotati, California, which is in Sonoma County, to a new location in San Juan Capistrano, which is in Orange County.  The move is expected to be completed by the end of October.

WASHINGTON (BRAIN) — While Congress continues to debate the reconciliation bill that includes making e-bikes more affordable and bike commuting safer, two bicycle organizations are asking for the industry's help after the e-bike tax credit was cut in half Wednesday by the House Ways and Means Committee.
