WASHINGTON (BRAIN) — Faraday Bicycles is recalling about 4,450 e-bikes because their seatposts can fail. The company said it has received nine reports of broken posts, including one incident that involved minor injuries.

WASHINGTON (BRAIN) — SRAM is working with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Canadian authorities to recall about 920 RockShox Lyrik and Yari forks. 

The company said the forks' lower legs can break. The CPSC said SRAM had received no reports of incidents in the field.

YONKERS, N.Y. (BRAIN) — Consumer Reports has rated three helmets as unsafe in its latest helmet test editorial package. For varying reasons, the independent, nonprofit member organization said helmets from Bontrager, Morpher and Woom failed its tests and are rated as "Don't Buy-Safety Risk."
