A group of current and former military personnel set out on a 1,900-mile bicycle trek on Wednesday in an effort to raise awareness about homeless veterans.

The Vet Hunters, as they call themselves, are traveling from Los Angeles to St. Louis helping homeless veterans get services on the way.
