Velo Vie Going IBD

Published July 8, 2009

SCOTTSDALE, AZ (BRAIN)—Velo Vie Bicycles is introducing the Velo Vie Dealer Network in the United States as a result of IBD demand.

Since its inception in 2006, Velo Vie has concentrated its marketing and promotion efforts through an online presence, with the company offering its complete line of carbon fiber bikes directly to customers.

"We are excited about this new marketing channel for our high quality bicycles as it presents significant promise for Velo Vie and for our new dealer partners," said Homayoon Farsi, chief executive officer for Velo Vie. "Our initial vision was launched with an eCommerce platform that kept our strategy very focused on this channel. In a short period of time, the demand has grown rapidly in the IBD environment and other dealer space, demonstrating to us that it is time to take this step and form these relationships."

Velo Vie will now facilitate dealer purchases of the company's bikes with the ability to configure each bike according to the needs of their own customers.

Dealers that elect to partner with Velo Vie will also have access to the company's online system, which allows for interactive participation in the Velo Vie online community, access to leads generated through the company's online marketing initiatives, and discounts on Velo Vie bicycles and components.
