Jordan Becomes Decline Senior Editor

VALENCIA, CA (BRAIN)—H3 Publications, Inc is starting the 2011 publishing year with the announcement of a few organizational changes at Decline magazine.

Effective immediately, long time editorial member Mark Jordan is assuming the role of senior editor, according to a press release. Senior photographer, Alan Davis, will be increasing his role in editorial matters including the management of feature story content. Starting September 23, 2010, new hire Drew Rohde will be taking the position of assistant editor, which will include Web site management as well as various tasks for both decline and road magazine.

Decline magazine will continue to showcase the leading edge of gravity mountain bike culture and the technology that makes it possible. The new team has already begun work on the first issue of 2011, which is planned to include, among other things, the Red Bull Rampage, World Championships coverage and the Oregon Super D Series wrap up. In addition, Decline magazine will continue to detail and review the latest bikes, components and soft goods.

Decline magazine has been available in digital format for over a year now and will continue to integrate with more web-friendly features in the future. The recent release of Decline apps for iPhone and iPad as well as the use of QR Codes in the print magazine work towards the integration of the print and web world. Readers can also keep up to date on the happenings at Decline via the Web site, Twitter and Facebook.
