LOS ANGELES (BRAIN) — Torch Apparel launched a bike helmet with integrated LED lights on the crowd-funding site Kickstarter.com two years ago. With pre-orders from Kickstarter supporters now filled, the company is looking to the dealer market for its future.

PORTLAND, Ore. (BRAIN) — Carbon fiber frame repair business Ruckus Composites will be raffling some leftover repaired frames to benefit charities.

The company said it often has a "dead pile" of broken frames that are dropped off and never picked up by their owners.
