BOULDER, Colo. (BRAIN) — Event organizers Richard Fries and Joan Hanscom were among the inductees into the Woolly Mammoth Society during the USA Cycling cyclocross national championships held here last week. The Woolly Mammoth Society is the unofficial U.S. cyclocross hall of fame.

Team Sky gets blue Stages power meters.

STOCKHOLM (BRAIN) — Swedish helmet and eyewear maker POC has signed on as sponsor of the Garmin-Sharp professional team for the next three years. POC will supply helmets and eyewear to the team starting this month.

KENT, WA (BRAIN) – Diamondback Bicycles has signed on as official bike sponsor of the Optum Pro Cycling UCI continental team. Optum’s men’s and women’s squads will race this year aboard Diamondback’s Podium Equipe model.

The partnership marks Diamondback’s first sponsorship of a professional road team.
