IRVINE, Calif. (BRAIN) — Electric bike motor maker Bosch will participate in next month's PressCamp Summer in Utah, event organizers announced Tuesday. Bosch introduced its Performance Line pedal electric assist (pedelec) system at the Sea Otter Classic.

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, Calif. (BRAIN) — The Charged Up media event set to take place next week at the Crystal Springs Resort in Hamburg, N.J., will open to retailers on May 15 from 2-5 p.m. For local dealers it's a chance to meet with sponsors, test products and learn more about e-bikes and wearable technology.

BOSTON (BRAIN) — Stromer is recalling about 1,300 Stromer ST1 women's and men's e-bikes, models M33 Elite and P48 Platinum, because the fork can break during use. The company has received one report of a fork breaking, resulting in minor scrapes and bruises to the rider.

ProdecoTech, an electric bike manufacturer, is based just north of Fort Lauderdale in a new state-of-the-art factory.
