FRIEDRICHSHAFEN, Germany (BRAIN) — Organizers of the Eurobike show have decided the 2018 event — which will its first in the new time frame of early July — will be a three-day event, with no consumer day.
The 2018 event will be Sunday, July 8, through Tuesday, July 10.
TAICHUNG, Taiwan (BRAIN) — Just a week after Eurobike announced plans to move its show from late August to early July in 2018 the organizers of Taipei's Cycle Show announced an even larger calendar shift: from its current dates in March to late October.

LOS ANGELES (BRAIN) — Zwift is preparing to release a new version of its online bike training/gaming app for iPads and iPhones. The new Zwift iOS app will be released as a "beta" program, the company said. The Zwift app was previously available only for use with a Mac or PC.
FLETCHER, N.C. (BRAIN) — Cane Creek Cycling Components has entered a long-term agreement with eecycleworks, a California company that produces a handful of components, including a lightweight caliper road brake called the eebrake.
VENICE, Italy (BRAIN) — Shred Optics and Slytech Protection have announced a new Italian distributor for the mountain bike market, DSB Bonandrini.
SINGEN, Germany (BRAIN) — Ritchey International has opened a new logistics operation, Multisped GmbH, in Singen, Germany, and has started a dealer-direct sales of its complete bikes and frames in Europe.
DENVER (BRAIN) — Gates is targeting the high-volume European urban bike and e-bike market with an expanded product line it will introduce at Eurobike at the end of this month. The company also will show new products for use with Pinion gearboxes and Rohloff hubs.
MALLABIA, Spain (BRAIN) — Orbea said it is skipping this year's Eurobike show, and will instead conduct several events with its European dealers and distributors. The company calls its new approach "Closer to You."
TAIPEI, Taiwan (BRAIN) — Folding bike maker Tern, which introduced its first diamond-frame non-folding urban bikes just before March's Taipei Cycle Show, is further diversifying its line with a Bosch-equipped electric folding model planned to debut at this summer's Eurobike expo.
TAICHUNG, Taiwan (BRAIN) — The organizers of Eurobike are working closely with Taichung Bike Week, a OEM event held each fall here.
FRIEDRICHSHAFEN, Germany (BRAIN) — In expanding its consumer component from one day to two, Eurobike will offer cycling fans 10 different areas for test rides, repair tips, skills demonstrations, music and more during the inaugural Festival Days on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 3 and 4.
