Published March 12, 2013

TEMPE, AZ (BRAIN) — Pivot Cycles has selected Shock Therapy as its new distributor for the German and Austrian markets. Shock Therapy has been in business for 16 years. The company started out rebuilding suspension and more recently has added Pivot bikes to its lineup of products.

Pivot will work with Shock Therapy president Hans Scherf, product manager Gjovalin Pepaj, and Frank Jeniche to grow the Pivot brand in Germany.

“This is an incredible opportunity for us in Germany and Austria,” said Chris Cocalis, president of Pivot. “Shock Therapy is a large and well established distributor with a history and penchant for successfully growing high-end brands in the German markets. We are excited that we have partnered with Shock Therapy. Hans and his team have the strength, ability and drive to allow more German and Austrian customers to see and experience Pivot products.”

“Pivot Cycles and DW-Link-Technology is fascinating to me because of their innovative ideas and their high quality bikes,” Scherf said. “At last year’s Interbike I had the chance to meet Chris Cocalis and his team. The bikes and the philosophy perfectly matches the high-end mountain bike image of Shock Therapy. We are really proud that we can represent this top brand to our dealers in Germany and Austria.”
