EMMAUS, Pa. (BRAIN) — Bicycling recently announced its annual Editors' Choice Awards for road and mountain bikes. The award winners for the best road bikes will be featured in Bicycling's June issue (on newsstands May 9); the best mountain bikes will be in the July issue (on newsstands June 6).

ENCINITAS, Calif. (BRAIN) — Lava magazine's May 1 issue, now hitting newsstands, will be its last print edition. The magazine will continue to be available as a digital magazine, but will no longer be available as a large-format publication.

PITTSBURGH (BRAIN) — Rotating Mass Media has announced the departure of Adam Newman, the editor in chief of Bicycle Times. The publisher said it will stop publishing Bicycle Times as a print magazine, at least temporarily, but the title's website will continue.

VALENCIA, Calif. (BRAIN) — H3 Publications owner Dave House has closed down industry titles Decline and Road after a 13-year run. The staff of six employees at H3's headquarters in Southern California were let go Tuesday morning, sources said.
